Chocolate Chip Strawberry Brownies

Chocolate Chip Strawberry Brownies
Prep Time: 30 minutes
Bake Time: 40 minutes
Ingredients:
1 1⁄2 C unsalted sweet cream butter, softened
2 C sugar
2⁄3 C light brown sugar
4 large eggs
2 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 C dark Hershey cocoa powder
2 C flour
1 tsp baking soda
1⁄2 tsp kosher salt
1 C semi sweet chocolate chips
4 tbsp red gel food coloring
1 1⁄2 C mini heart confetti sprinkles
Strawberry Base ingredients
1 C unsalted sweet cream butter, softened
1 C sugar
2 tbsp strawberry jello mix
2 large eggs
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
2 1⁄2 C flour
1 – 3.4 oz white chocolate instant pudding mix
1 tsp baking soda
1⁄2 tsp kosher salt
1 – 8 oz bag white chocolate chips
Chocolate Chip Cookie Base ingredients
1 C unsalted sweet cream butter, softened
1 1⁄2 C light brown sugar
1⁄2 C sugar
2 large egg
2 tsp pure vanilla extract
2 1⁄2 C flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp kosher salt
2 3⁄4 C semi-sweet chocolate chips
Brownie Base Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9×13 baking dish with pam baking spray.
Using a large mixing bowl and hand beaters, cream together the butter, sugar, and brown sugar
until light in color and fluffy.
Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by mixing in the vanilla and red gel food coloring.
Using a medium bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, flour, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually mix in the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until combined.
Gently fold in the chocolate chips and half of the Valentine’s Day sprinkles.
Scoop the batter into the baking dish and spread until even.
Sprinkle the remaining sprinkles on top of the batter.
Set aside

Strawberry white chocolate batter directions:
Using a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, and jello mix.
Beat in the eggs and vanilla until combined.
Using a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, pudding mix, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually mix in the dry ingredients into the wet.
Fold in the white chocolate chips.
Evenly press the strawberry layer on top of the brownie layer.
Set aside

Using another large bowl and hand mixer, beat together the butter, brown sugar, and sugar until
pale in color and fluffy.
Beat in the egg and vanilla until combined.
Using a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually beat into the wet ingredients until a dough forms.
Fold in half of the chocolate chips.
Drop spoonfuls of batter onto the strawberry layer and using fingers, spread the chocolate chip
batter evenly across the strawberry layer.
Top with remaining chocolate chips.
Bake in the preheated oven for 35-45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with little to no
crumbs.
Allow to cool for 10 minutes before cutting into gooey bars.
