Place some ice in a large cup, then pour in the Gin and Vermouth. Stir with a spoon about 1 minute or use your newly purchased Cocktail Shaker if you prefer. This depends on your preference for a shaken or stirred martini.
Pour mixture into your martini glasses, but strain ice out. Pour just a splash of mango juice in the glass. Garnish with an orange slice and a mango slice.
If you want to have an orange sugar rim like in the photos you take corn syrup and place on the edges. Then put a few drops of orange food coloring in the sugar and dip the glasses into the colored sugar. If you want to get fancy when stocking your home bar, you can purchase some Orange Cocktail Sugar to have on hand.
There are so many occasions when a great cocktail is a must. Making a beautiful, bright colored Orange Mango Martini is going to be the highlight of your dinner parties or just a favorite way for you to end the day. Mix this up and impress your guests with a delightful cocktail with bright flavors everyone loves!
Random mango story: While we were living in Honduras (in a two room hooch) we ate mangos everyday. They grow all over the country. At one point we ended up traveling across the country on a chicken bus. Chicken buses got their name from foreign travelers because their cargo sometimes includes chickens or other live animals hitching a ride from town to town. During the stops locals would be standing out side the buses selling bags of fruit including mangos. You could throw down money and they would use a large stick to deliver them to you through your window!
